It is a fully integrated autonomous logistics platform — vehicle, AI navigation, Fleet Command software, remote operations and smart energy infrastructure — engineered to work together from day one. Every component is designed for enterprise deployment at scale.
RELAY
The Operational Economics
of Autonomous Delivery
Manual internal logistics is expensive, inconsistent and difficult to scale. As labour costs rise and operational complexity grows, autonomous platforms like WOX Relay deliver a structural cost advantage — not a marginal one. The question is not whether to automate, but when.
Internal logistics — moving goods between buildings, floors, departments and dispatch zones — is one of the most labour-intensive and least visible cost centres in any large operation. It scales poorly and is difficult to optimise with manual resources.
Autonomous platforms replace repetitive manual transport with continuous, AI-managed delivery. The vehicle never tires, never calls in sick and never needs a shift change — delivering predictable throughput at a lower cost per delivery.
Organisations that deploy autonomous logistics now gain a structural cost advantage that compounds over time — lower cost per delivery, higher asset utilisation, better operational data and a workforce freed for higher-value tasks.
Designed for Enterprise Operations
WOX Relay combines automotive-grade engineering with enterprise fleet software and a commercial EV architecture — built around the outcomes that matter to operations directors, fleet managers and procurement teams.
Purpose-Built Commercial Platform
WOX Relay is not a modified passenger vehicle. It is a purpose-built commercial EV platform engineered from the chassis upward for autonomous logistics — with the structural integrity, duty-cycle durability and payload capacity that enterprise operations require.
Continuous Fleet Availability
No shift changes, no breaks, no fatigue. Relay operates continuously with AI-managed charging schedules designed to maintain fleet availability around the clock — maximising asset utilisation and throughput.
Full Operational Visibility
Every vehicle, every mission, every battery level — visible in real time from Fleet Command. Audit trails, performance analytics and exception alerts are included as standard, giving operations teams the data they need to manage at scale.
Redeploy Your Workforce
Free your team from repetitive internal transport tasks. Relay handles routine logistics autonomously so your people can focus on higher-value work — improving both operational efficiency and workforce satisfaction.
Drive-by-Wire Architecture
Electronic steering, braking and throttle control provide the precision and packaging flexibility required for autonomous commercial operation. Drive-by-wire is the foundation of reliable, repeatable autonomous performance.
Scalable Enterprise Deployment
Start with a single vehicle. Scale to a full fleet. The WOX platform grows with your operation — same software, same infrastructure, same management interface — without requiring fundamental changes to your deployment.
Automotive-Grade
Vehicle Platform
Engineered from the chassis upward for autonomous commercial operation. WOX Relay is not a modified passenger vehicle — it is a purpose-built commercial EV platform developed specifically for the demands of autonomous logistics.
Dedicated Autonomous Chassis
The Relay chassis has been designed from the ground up for autonomous commercial operation — not adapted from a passenger vehicle platform. The structure is optimised for payload capacity, durability and the specific load cases of commercial logistics duty cycles.
CAE Structural Optimisation
Computer-Aided Engineering simulation has been used throughout the chassis development process to analyse structural performance, identify stress concentrations and optimise material distribution — reducing weight while maintaining commercial-grade structural integrity.
Physical Validation Programme
The chassis design is subject to physical validation testing including steer-by-wire system verification, structural load testing and durability assessment — ensuring that engineering simulation results are confirmed through real-world physical testing.
Drive-by-Wire Architecture
WOX Relay uses a drive-by-wire architecture in which steering, braking and throttle are controlled electronically rather than through mechanical linkages. This approach provides the precise, repeatable control required for autonomous operation and offers improved packaging flexibility compared to conventional mechanical systems.
400V Commercial EV Architecture
WOX Relay is built on a 400V high-voltage commercial EV platform. This architecture supports fast charging capability, efficient energy management across the duty cycle and commercial-grade electrical systems designed for continuous operation in demanding environments.
Designed for Long-Term Commercial Operation
WOX Relay has been designed with long-term commercial operation in mind. The platform targets a 10-year design life and 500,000 km design target — reflecting the operational requirements of fleet customers who need vehicles that work reliably over extended service periods.
* Design targets. Actual service life depends on duty cycle, maintenance schedule, operating environment and configuration. These figures do not constitute a warranty or guarantee.

From Mission Request to Confirmed Delivery
Mission Request
A delivery request is submitted via Fleet Command — either by an operator or automatically through an integrated WMS, ERP or TMS. The request specifies origin, destination, cargo type and priority level.
Route Planning
The AI navigation system calculates the optimal route based on real-time environmental data, facility maps and vehicle availability. Multiple route options are evaluated and the most efficient path is selected automatically.
Vehicle Dispatch
The nearest available Relay vehicle is assigned to the mission. It receives the route plan and mission parameters, performs a pre-departure system check and proceeds to the pickup point without operator intervention.
Autonomous Transit
The vehicle navigates autonomously using its sensor array and AI navigation system. Real-time obstacle detection and dynamic re-routing ensure safe, uninterrupted transit through the operational environment.
Cargo Loading
At the pickup point, cargo is loaded into the vehicle. Loading can be manual, semi-automated or fully automated depending on facility configuration. The vehicle confirms cargo weight and secure loading before proceeding.
Delivery & Confirmation
The vehicle navigates to the delivery destination and completes the handover. Delivery is confirmed in Fleet Command with timestamp, location and optional photographic record. The vehicle returns to standby or proceeds to the next queued mission.
Autonomous Intelligence
Built for Commercial Use
Every Relay vehicle is guided by an onboard AI system that processes sensor data, plans routes and makes real-time decisions — continuously adapting to the environment without human input in normal operation. Designed for the reliability and predictability that enterprise operations demand.
Multi-Sensor Perception
Fuses data from cameras, LiDAR and radar to build a real-time 3D model of the environment. Detects obstacles, personnel and infrastructure — providing the situational awareness required for safe autonomous operation.
Dynamic Route Planning
Continuously recalculates the optimal path based on real-time conditions. Adapts to obstacles, route changes and mission updates without operator intervention — maintaining throughput even in complex environments.
Behavioural Prediction
Predicts the movement of people, vehicles and dynamic objects to plan safe, efficient trajectories. Reduces unnecessary stops and improves mission completion rates in high-traffic operational areas.
Onboard Compute
High-performance onboard computing processes sensor data and runs navigation algorithms in real time. Core autonomous operation does not depend on cloud connectivity — ensuring reliable performance in all network conditions.
Remote Operations Centre
All vehicles are monitored continuously from the Fleet Command operations centre. Remote operators can intervene, redirect or stop any vehicle at any time — providing the human oversight that enterprise deployments require.
Fail-Safe Architecture
If any system anomaly is detected, the vehicle transitions to a safe state automatically — stopping safely and alerting the operations centre. No single failure can compromise safe vehicle operation.
