WOX Motor has officially introduced the WOX Pixel, a new compact SUV developed on a flexible multi-powertrain platform designed to serve the evolving mobility needs of global markets. Planned for launch by the end of 2026, Pixel is engineered to operate as a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) or a conventional Petrol model — a single architecture capable of adapting to different infrastructure realities, regulatory environments and customer preferences across the world.

The introduction of Pixel marks a deliberate expansion of WOX Motor's product strategy: rather than committing to a single powertrain philosophy, the company has developed a platform that allows each market to receive the variant best suited to its conditions.

A Platform Built Around Choice

The central premise of WOX Pixel is straightforward. Different markets are at different stages of electrification. Charging infrastructure, grid reliability, fuel availability, government incentives and customer driving habits vary significantly between regions. A vehicle that is practical in central Europe may be impractical in parts of Africa or Southeast Asia — and vice versa.

WOX Pixel addresses this reality directly. The same compact SUV body, the same interior architecture and the same fundamental engineering underpin three distinct powertrain configurations:

  • Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) — for markets with established charging infrastructure and strong EV adoption
  • Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) — for customers who want electric driving capability with the reassurance of an onboard range extender for longer journeys or areas with limited charging access
  • Petrol — for markets where conventional powertrains remain the practical and commercially viable choice

This approach reflects WOX Motor's broader conviction that global mobility cannot be solved by a single technology. Pixel is the company's clearest expression of that philosophy to date.

Compact Dimensions, Practical Architecture

WOX Pixel occupies the compact SUV segment — a category that continues to record strong global demand across both developed and emerging markets. The vehicle has been designed with everyday practicality as its primary objective: efficient packaging, a practical interior, and dimensions suited to urban and suburban environments without sacrificing usable space.

Key technology highlights across the Pixel range include:

FeatureDetail
Body StyleCompact SUV (5-seat)
Powertrain OptionsBEV / REEV / Petrol
Battery TechnologyLFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) on BEV and REEV variants
V2L CapabilityVehicle-to-Load on equipped EV versions
InfotainmentModern connected infotainment system
InteriorPractical, urban-focused cabin design
Planned LaunchEnd of 2026

The BEV variant incorporates LFP battery technology, chosen for its thermal stability, long cycle life and cost efficiency — characteristics that make it well-suited to both high-mileage urban use and markets where battery longevity under varied climate conditions is a priority.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability on equipped EV versions allows Pixel to function as a mobile power source — a feature with practical applications ranging from outdoor activities to emergency power supply, and one that is increasingly valued by customers in markets with variable grid access.

Positioned Within the WOX Ecosystem

WOX Pixel joins a product portfolio that already spans electric city cars, premium electric SUVs, solar-assisted urban vehicles, electric minibuses and autonomous logistics platforms. Within this lineup, Pixel occupies a distinct position as the company's first model to offer explicit multi-powertrain flexibility from the outset.

The model complements existing WOX vehicles including the WOX Nebula (premium electric SUV, 420 km WLTP range), the WOX Zeny (solar-assisted electric city car), the WOX Air (electric sedan), the WOX Magic (electric minibus), the WOX Relay (autonomous logistics platform) and the WOX NEO (C-segment SUV, production from October 2026).

Together, these models represent WOX Motor's commitment to building a comprehensive mobility ecosystem rather than a single-product offering.

European Market Introduction

WOX Pixel is planned to be introduced to selected European markets from the end of 2026, subject to completion of homologation processes and market readiness assessments. European customers will have access to the BEV and REEV variants, with specifications and trim levels to be confirmed ahead of the regional launch.

WOX Motor has not confirmed that European type approval has been obtained at this stage. Further regulatory and market updates will be communicated through official WOX Motor channels as the launch timeline progresses.

CEO Statement

"Pixel reflects something we believe very strongly at WOX Motor: mobility should adapt to the customer, not the other way around. We have customers in markets where full electrification is already the right answer. We have customers in markets where range anxiety is a genuine barrier, and a range extender changes everything. And we have customers in markets where petrol remains the most practical choice for the foreseeable future. Pixel is our answer to all three. One platform, three powertrains, one global vision."

— Mahmut Ulubas, CEO & Co-Founder, WOX Motor

Ulubas continued:

"The introduction of Pixel is an important step in WOX Motor's long-term product strategy. We are not building vehicles for a single market or a single technology cycle. We are building a portfolio that can grow with our customers and adapt as the global mobility landscape evolves. Pixel is a direct expression of that ambition."

Future Outlook

WOX Motor will release detailed technical specifications, variant configurations and market-specific pricing information closer to the planned launch date. The company has confirmed that production planning is underway and that the end-of-2026 timeline remains the current target.

Further information on the WOX Pixel, including full specifications and regional availability, will be published on the official WOX Motor website and distributed through authorised WOX Motor communications channels.
