Human Oversight for
Autonomous Fleets
WOX Relay operates autonomously — but human oversight remains an important part of responsible autonomous logistics. Remote operations provides supervision, assistance and intervention capability without requiring a driver in every vehicle.
Supervision, Not Remote Driving
Remote operations in the WOX Relay context means human operators monitoring the fleet, receiving alerts and providing assistance when a vehicle cannot proceed autonomously. It is not continuous remote driving.
This distinction matters. WOX Relay is designed to complete the vast majority of missions without human intervention. Remote operations is the safety net — available when needed, not required for every delivery.
All vehicles visible in real time — location, mission status, battery level and any active alerts.
Automatic alerts when a vehicle stops due to an obstacle, mission failure or system issue.
Operators can assist a stopped vehicle — providing guidance or authorising an alternative action.
Operators can view, modify or cancel missions from the fleet platform without being on site.
