Autonomous Logistics for
Warehouses and Yards
WOX Relay handles inter-warehouse movement, yard operations, dock logistics and repetitive transport routes — reducing labour cost, improving throughput and integrating with your existing warehouse management systems.
The Operational Cost of Manual Warehouse Logistics
Warehouses and distribution centres depend on constant movement of goods between storage areas, picking zones, packing stations and dispatch docks. This movement is typically handled by manual labour, forklifts and tugger trains — creating significant operational cost, safety risk and throughput limitations that are difficult to address without structural change.
Inter-warehouse and inter-zone transport consumes significant manual labour hours per shift
Yard movements between buildings and loading docks require dedicated vehicle operators
Repetitive transport routes are difficult to staff consistently across all shifts
Manual logistics creates throughput bottlenecks during peak periods
Fleet visibility across large warehouse campuses is limited without a centralised platform
Autonomous inter-warehouse and inter-zone transport on pre-mapped routes
Yard operations — moving goods between buildings, loading docks and staging areas
Dock logistics — transport between receiving, storage and dispatch zones
Repetitive transport routes handled autonomously across all shifts
WMS integration via open APIs for automated mission creation
Real-time fleet visibility — every vehicle, every mission, every battery level
Full mission audit trail for warehouse logistics compliance
Scalable fleet — add vehicles as warehouse volumes or footprint grows
How WOX Relay Supports Warehouse Operations
WOX Relay operates on pre-mapped routes within warehouse campuses — service roads, yard areas and inter-building pathways. Missions are assigned through the WOX Fleet Platform or integrated WMS, and executed autonomously with full telemetry and audit logging.
Typical Warehouse Mission Workflow
Mission Created
A mission is created manually or automatically via WMS integration — specifying origin, destination and cargo.
Vehicle Assigned
The WOX Fleet Platform assigns the nearest available Relay vehicle for the mission.
Cargo Loaded
Goods are loaded at the origin point. The operator confirms loading and the mission is authorised.
Autonomous Transit
Relay navigates autonomously along the pre-mapped warehouse route, responding to obstacles and other vehicles.
Delivery Confirmed
Goods are delivered to the destination. The recipient confirms receipt and the mission is logged.
Return or Next Mission
Relay returns to base or proceeds to the next queued mission. Charging is managed automatically.

Designed for Controlled Environments
WOX Relay is designed for operation within defined, controlled areas — campuses, facilities, industrial zones and managed outdoor environments. All autonomous capabilities are subject to site conditions and applicable local regulations.
Availability of specific features may vary by configuration and market. Contact WOX for details applicable to your location.
Multi-sensor obstacle detection — cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors
Designed for mixed-traffic warehouse and yard environments
Emergency stop capability — vehicle halts immediately if required
Geofenced operation within defined warehouse zones and approved routes
Remote operations support for complex or unfamiliar situations
All autonomous operations subject to applicable warehouse safety regulations and site approval
Integrated Charging Infrastructure
WOX Relay integrates with WOX Charging infrastructure to support continuous warehouse fleet operation. Charging stations can be installed at logistics hubs, dock areas or dedicated charging bays within the facility. The WOX Fleet Platform manages charging schedules automatically to maintain fleet availability across all warehouse shifts.
From Site Survey to Go Live
WOX provides full deployment support for warehouse and distribution centre environments — from initial site survey and route mapping through to WMS integration, fleet commissioning and operator training. A typical warehouse deployment is operational within 6–8 weeks. WOX engineers work with warehouse operations and health and safety teams throughout the process.
