Defined Zones.
Controlled Operations.
Geofencing defines the boundaries within which WOX Relay operates. Every deployment has a defined operating zone — the vehicle cannot leave this area without authorisation. This is a core safety and operational requirement.
Operational Boundaries
A geofenced operating zone is a digitally defined area within which the vehicle is authorised to operate. The zone is configured during site commissioning and enforced by the vehicle's onboard systems and the WOX Fleet Platform.
Geofencing is particularly important for deployments in environments with adjacent public areas — airports, campuses, industrial parks and smart city zones — where clear operational boundaries are required for safety and regulatory compliance.
Defined operating zones configured during site commissioning
Vehicle cannot leave the approved zone without authorisation
Route restrictions within the zone — approved paths only
Zone-specific speed configurations where required
Automatic stop and alert if the vehicle approaches a zone boundary
Zone updates managed through the WOX Fleet Platform
